San Miguel Wedding Photographers, San Miguel de Allende Wedding Photographer
San Miguel de Allende is undoubtedly my favourite place to work as a wedding photographer. It is just gorgeous; there are countless beautiful bench filled cobbled streets and squares and an impressive amount of perfectly kept colonial buildings now serving as museums, galleries, art schools, hotels, restaurants and private houses. One of the best of these available for short-term rental is bougainvillea filled Casa Capricho, situated just one block from the Jardin. I was the wedding photographer for a party who were staying in this house prior to the wedding and I immediately fell for it. For this wedding in particular we walked from Casa Capricho to the famous Parroquia where the destination wedding took place. The wedding was followed by a procession (led by the bride and groom and accompanied by eight mariachis) through the cobbled streets of San Miguel down to Casa Hyder (an incredible private house which the family had rented for wedding). Also remembered fondly is Casa de la Cuesta, a characterful guesthouse with beautiful views over the rest of San Miguel. Amongst many beautiful places to celebrate your wedding are Posada Carmina, Casa Quetzal, La Puertecita, Casa de Sierra Nevada, Casa Luna, Corazon, Dos Casas and Casa Schuck, where I am photographing a wedding later this year. Working as a wedding photographer in San Miguel is not only a lot of fun but it is in San Miguel that I have taken some of my all time favourite wedding photographs.
